How To Be Happy Even When Life Doesn’t Want You To Be

Life is a journey full of surprises and every day is a new blessing or a new challenge. As we grow older we learn things through our experiences and we know that there are ups and downs in life. But, sometimes life puts us in challenging circumstances when the “downs” are more present in our lives than the “ups”. We feel depressed, we lose ambition for life and we go through our “monotone” daily life asking ourselves what in store for the future. When you hit that stage of life you kind of feel lost and don’t know what to do or sometimes you even forget how to be happy. Today I’m going to be sharing with you my tips on how to boost your happiness when you are in your BAD PHASE.

  1. Find happiness in the small stuff.

    This is the most underestimated path to happiness. First of all, if you don’t cherish the blessings you have in your life, even the small little things, you can never be happy. Us humans are sometimes greedy in our wishes. Happiness is a combination of a lot of things and it’s not just the BIG things that bring us happiness. If you are not grateful for the little things in life you will never be happy even if you have all the things that you want and desire. Start being grateful for that “Good morning” that your grumpy neighbour that envies you, at least you are able to walk on the street, there are a lot of people that can’t.

  2. Everything is going to be alright.

    Think about the problems you had let’s say 5 years ago. Do you care about them now? Nope, most probably you even forgot about a lot of them. No matter what is happening in your life stay conscious and always know that this is not going to last forever. Good moments don’t last forever but neither do the bad ones. Always remember that. So enjoy the good moments and go through the bad ones as well, they will not last forever.

  3. Start doing healthy things for your brain.

    When was the last time you went in nature all alone? For most of you, the answer may be never.  Go out and go the nearest place where you can find peace and calmness. Look at the beautiful sight that is in front of your eyes and be thankful that you are a part of this unperfect world. For a moment, leave your problems outside your head and observe the beauty of the world WITHOUT the people in it. You will feel that you belong somewhere, and yes you do belong to this world.
